Lingfield Partnership Fun Run

Getting freshments and cold drinks after last year's Lingfield Fun Run. It's very thirsty work!

Lingfield Partnership members are busy organising things for the annual Fun Run on Sunday April 27th at Heathfield School, on the Broadway. The event starts at 1.30pm with a gentle run around the school area led by the famous Street Scene Man!! Its a good chance to get fit and be green at the same time. The rest of the afternoon will offer stalls from local groups and organisations including Groundwork, Recycling information, a raffle and tombola and some of the local school children will be showing off their progress with the community allotment project being developed with Heathfield Primary.

Here are some of the local volunteers helping with a very cold clear up day back in November 07

This allotment project is open to anyone with an interest in gardening and who would like to help the children learn new skills about growing fruit and vegetables for themselves. Please come along and get involved. Make new friends and help your local area and local children bloom. There are lots of different jobs that need doing to get a new allotment going and all offers of help and donations of gardening tools and equipment are very welcome. Please contact Lingfield Partnership or Heathfield School to join in the fun.
